Mr. Leon Bennett

May 15, 1960 - January 14, 2021

Mr. Leon Bennett, resident of Troy, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. Mr. Leon Bennett was born in Pike County, AL, to the late Mr. Enoch Morris Bennett, Sr. and the late Ms. Annie Gussie Hooks. He was brought up in a loving family and received Christ at an early age. He was a member of the Cass of 1979 at Charles Henderson High School in Troy, AL. He is preceded in death by his sister Helen Faye Bennett. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Mrs. Ernestine Bennett and five children, Dianne (Renardo) Jackson, Troy, AL; Latasha (Earnest) Green, Dothan, AL; Ann (Dennis) Bennett-McCloud, Laron (Akyja) Bennett, Troy, AL; and Leon Bennett, Troy, AL; four siblings, Dorothy (Willie) Brown, Macon, GA; Enoch Bennett, Jr. Cleveland, OH; Judy Davison, Fort Lauderdale, FL; and Corene Lemons, Cleveland, OH; grandchildren, Madajah Jackson, Malachi Jackson, Zion Jackson, Olivia Jackson, Lanardo Jackson, Jaylen Jackson, Juquan, Zeacoryion Anajiah, Nathan McCloud, Elias McCloud, Akiyja Bennett, Aniya Bennett, Kaitlin Bennett; great grandchild, Elan Roberson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021, at Old Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Goshen, AL. Family and Friends Visitation (Walk-thru) will be from 1:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021.***Per CDC Guidelines, everyone is requested to wear masks and practice social distancing at all Visitations and Funerals***
